Let's talk about hair, shall we?
The date is coming up fast and I have yet to decide on what I am going to do with my hair. I got it cut a few weeks ago and added bangs (oh how I've missed you!); LOVE the hair. Am thinking of possibly getting it cut again a few days before the wedding and wearing it straight, simple and non-fussy with the headband (update: got the headband in the mail yesterday, tried it on and it looks cute! It's a little bigger than I thought it would be but with the details in the dress, I think things would work out quite well).
But to run through other options, I have always loved the idea of wearing my hair up. Only, I don't think I would pull it off too well. My hair is stick straight and doesn't really get the kind of volume one would need to pull off something cute like this:
Don't you just love the birdcage veil? Plus, love a bride that rocks the bangs.
Or I could wear it down and wavy (this would require lots of work from curling iron, hairspray and perhaps extensions?!)
It's romantic and curly and so touchable. In place of the lace headband goes the one with a big pink peony.
Really, I am up for anything. I need to scour more magazines and websites for hair ideas. I have no preferences but just know that some things won't look good on me (adore ethereal looks but gawd, horrible on me).
Ideas anyone? Really. Please send me some.

I think you should put your hair up in some way. I'm thinking a chignon. You'd be surprised how they can pin & tuck hair up! My sister has super thin hair, and she had a chignon for her wedding, and it was gorgeous looking.
My only issue when people wear their hair down, is that it gets stringy looking. And with pictures being taken all day, well, you get the idea.
That's just my two cents though... You of course of are the final decision maker! ;-)
Thanks, Robin. I need all the help I can get. I am thinking I might have to try both versions, wear it out all day, and see which one a)looks better when all is said and done, and b) lasts all day.
Because your dress and flower headband are so dramatic, I think it'd be pretty to leave your hair and bangs down and simple. You have gorgeous, healthy-looking hair, so I think it'd look great. Just my 2 cents ;)
Sounds like a very good excuse for a few trips to the hairdresser for fancy do's. :D
I agree straight could look very "flower child" chic too. :)
